If so, you may qualify for a special award certificate, 900 Miler club patch, t-shirt transfer, together with membership in the 900 Miler Association.!

 Since the official trail map changes from year to year, the stipulation is that you must have hiked all of the trails on the official GSMNP (Great Smoky Mountains National Park) trail map for the year that you completed the project.

To apply, submit your name, address, date you hiked the last trail, records and verification as outlined below. Send together with $15 to John Gallemore, 103 Deer Run Maryville TN 37803 . You will be placed on the permanent register, and will receive an attractive patch, T-shirt transfers, and award certificate. Our activities include an annual hike, a newsletter , hiker announcements throughout the year for those that have e-mail. At this time we have no yearly dues.

To apply for membership, you must provide a copy of your hiking record or map with dates each trail was hiked and with whom (alone is ok). We reserve the right to interview you on specific trails.

Please choose two or more trails from the list below and relate your experience in hiking them:
Balsam Mountain Trail, Hazel Creek, Gunter Fork Trail, Lakeshore Trail, Jonas Creek, Forney Ridge/ Forney Creek loop, Appalachian Trail from Charlie's Bunion to Tricorner Knob or Appalachian Trail from Siler's Bald to Thunderhead.

We'd also be interested in any unusual experiences you had on any of the trails, best hike, worst hike, first hike, last hike etc.
